Mark Villa (b. 1996) is a Filipino- American filmmaker born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mark currently resides in Los Angeles.
 When Mark is not working as a cinematographer, he works as camera assistant in various capacities. 

With gained experience as a camera assistant and being a child of immigrants, Mark is able to adapt and problem solve in any situation. 
As Mark slowly steps away from camera assisting his cinematography is always centered around capturing the humanity and unique perspectives of his subjects. Mark strives to find the balance in every situation.
